How do I sync my data/changes to/from the cloud?
Keeping your tablet synced with the cloud ensures that your mix logs are backed up and that any new work orders or products created in the office are available on the trailer.
The Cloud Status Icon
Section titled “The Cloud Status Icon”The easiest way to check your connection status is to look at the Cloud Icon located in the upper right-hand corner of the Mixmate app screen. It has three states:
Not Synced: A slash through the cloud means the device has connected to the machine or was not connected to the internet when attempting to sync.
Syncing: Arrows on the cloud mean it's actively uploading or downloading pending changes.
Sync Complete: A checkmark inside the cloud means your data is fully synced and up to date.
How to Trigger a Sync
Section titled “How to Trigger a Sync”If the cloud icon isn't showing Sync Complete, you can force a sync using these two methods:
Manual Tap: Ensure your tablet is connected to the internet (via Wi-Fi or a hotspot) and simply tap the cloud icon. The app will immediately attempt to communicate with the Praxidyn servers.
App Restart: Close the Mixmate app completely and reopen it while connected to the internet. The app is programmed to perform an automatic sync every time it initializes.
Why Syncing Matters
Section titled “Why Syncing Matters”Reporting: Your office staff cannot see your completed jobs or generate invoices until the tablet syncs.
Updates: If a manager changes a chemical rate or adds a new field to a work order from the web portal, those changes won't appear on your tablet until the sync is successful.
