Mass Flowmeters

Mass flowmeters rarely have problems. When they do act up, the most common cause is a trapped air bubble in the meter body — bleed the line to clear it and confirm the reading stabilizes.

Mass flowmeters are factory-calibrated and don't need user adjustment.

Start with a baseline check in Diagnostics Mode to rule out wiring back to the module before assuming the meter itself has failed — the same wiring-isolation technique (swap in a known-working meter, or simulate pulses by hand at the connector) used for any other flowmeter applies here too.

Beyond that, mass flowmeters are a specialized installation — the internal mechanism varies by manufacturer, and diagnosing anything past a trapped air bubble or a wiring issue typically requires a technician who services the specific brand installed on your machine.
