Ratio of Products

A Ratio-Based Work Order is used when you want to mix products relative to one another. This is common for fertilizer blends or chemical spikes where you want a specific concentration (e.g., 1 pint of one product for every 100 gallons of another).

Example: Creating a Two-Product Ratio

Goal: You want to add 1 pint of Stabilizer for every 1000 gallons of Fertilizer.

1. Add Fertilizer:

   • Amount: 1000

   • Unit: Gallons

   • Rinse: 0 (Typically set to 0 within the ratio definition to keep the math clean).

2. Add Stabilizer:

   • Amount: 1

   • Unit: Pint

   • Rinse: 0

How Mixmate reads this: If you later request a 500-gallon mix of this Work Order, Mixmate will automatically calculate that you need 0.48 pints of Stabilizer and 499.94 gallons of Fertilizer.
