Power Module Blink Code - Steady Flashing

Steady Flashing on the Power Module is the normal indication that the machine is booting up. The light goes solid once the machine has properly booted.

Seeing the Power Module light flash steadily for a few seconds while the machine starts up is completely normal. However, the steady flashing should not last more than 1 minute. If it does, the machine is stuck somewhere in its boot-up checking process and isn't completing it.

On a phone or tablet, open the WiFi settings and look at the list of available networks. Is the Mixmate's own WiFi network showing up in that list?

  • Yes, the WiFi is showing up: This points to a CAN bus issue.

    1. Verify ~60 Ohms at the Power Module first — see CAN Bus Resistance Check for the full testing procedure.

    2. If resistance checks out, unplug everything except the master controller, power module, and terminators. Power up the machine — this should produce a steady light.

      • Still not steady? The problem is in the connection between the master controller and the power module itself.

      • Steady light? Power the system back down and plug in one item at a time, checking for a steady light after each one. This is the most reliable way to isolate the broken harness or module that's taking down the whole system.

  • No, the WiFi is not showing up: This points to a master controller issue.

    1. Verify power is actually reaching the master controller — see Power Check for the full procedure.

    2. If power is present at the master controller, the master controller needs to be replaced.

    3. If power is not present, fix the power issue first and try again.
