Tablet Error 105 - Critical Device Missing
Error 105 occurs when the master controller cannot communicate with a specific component (like a flowmeter, valve, or inductor) required for the system to function.
Why am I getting this error?
Section titled “Why am I getting this error?”You will receive Error 105 when the machine detects that a device required on the CAN bus (the communication network between your Mixmate parts) is missing or not responding. If the master controller cannot "see" a device it needs for the current operation, it will halt the process to prevent an inaccurate mix.
How do I resolve this error?
Section titled “How do I resolve this error?”1. Basic Reset
Section titled “1. Basic Reset”Start by rebooting the Mixmate hardware. Power the system down completely and turn it back on to force the master controller to re-scan the CAN bus for all connected devices.
2. Check Power
Section titled “2. Check Power”A device that's wired correctly can still go "missing" on the CAN bus if it isn't getting enough voltage to power its communication chip — this is especially common for a component located far from the Power Module, where wiring resistance causes more voltage drop under load. 3. Check CAN Bus Resistance

4. Physical Inspection
Section titled “4. Physical Inspection”If power and CAN bus resistance both check out, inspect the wiring across your entire system. Ensure that all cables are securely plugged in and that every device is receiving power. A loose plug or a cut wire is the most common cause of a "missing" device.
