Inductor Type
Used specifically for configuring non-Mixmate manufactured inductors.
Name: The name of the custom inductor.
Tank Rinse Valve (Optional): Controls the internal tank wash. Configure as CAN bus or Digital.
Drain Valve (Optional): The valve that empties the inductor into the carrier stream. Configure as CAN bus or Digital.
Scale Information
Section titled “Scale Information”Additional Scale Head: Set whether an external head powers the load cells. If not, Mixmate provides the power. Note: Physical wiring differs for each.
Inductor Module: Scan or enter the module that reads the load cells.
Calibration Factor: The scale's calibration factor, in counts per kilogram.
Scale Reaction Speed: Adjusts for environmental noise (3-Med Vibration is standard).
ADC Gain: Sets signal amplification (8–128). This is a balancing act: you want the highest gain that still lets the scale read its full rated capacity — set it too high and the scale can't reach full capacity, but too low sacrifices the resolution needed to accurately measure product. If you change this, you must update the Calibration Factor.
Scale Division Kilograms: The smallest increment (in kilograms) the scale can register.
Capacity and Unit Of Measurement: The scale's rated capacity and its unit.
Add Inputs
Section titled “Add Inputs”Tap + Add Input to add an individual plumbing input to the custom inductor — add as many as needed. Each starts with a Valve field (CAN bus or Digital), which reveals a Name* field, a Scan Module Code* field, and a Hose Dimensions link.
