A Ratio-Based Work Order is used when you want to mix products relative to one another rather than based on a specific land area (like acres). This is common for fertilizer blends or chemical spikes where you want a specific concentration (e.g., 1 pint of one product for every 100 gallons of another).
| Field | Description |
| Work Order Number* | The name that appears in selection menus. Since this is a text field, you can use names like "Fertilizer Blend A" or "Corn Spike 1." |
| Report Tags | Used for data organization. Common tags include Crop Year, Crop, or Pass Type. These allow you to filter your reports later. |
| Final State of Mix | Specifies if the final solution is Liquid or Dry. This defaults to Liquid. |
| Destination | Used primarily for filtering records when creating or selecting this type of Work Order. |
When adding products, you are defining the "parts" of the whole. Mixmate will scale these amounts up or down based on the total mix size you request at the time of mixing.
Select the specific product from your inventory to add to the ratio.
Enter the numerical value for this part of the ratio.
Select the units for the amount (e.g., Gallons, Pints, Liters).
Goal: You want to add 1 pint of Fert 2 for every 100 gallons of Fert 1.
Add Fert 1:
Amount: 100
Unit: Gallons
Rinse: 0 (Typically set to 0 within the ratio definition to keep the math clean).
Add Fert 2:
Amount: 1
Unit: Pint
Rinse: 0
How Mixmate reads this: If you later request a 1,000-gallon mix of this Work Order, Mixmate will automatically calculate that you need 10 pints of Fert 2 and the remaining balance as Fert 1.
