Work Order Creation - Use Totals - I want to mark this work order complete when fulfilled

Creating a Totals-Based Work Order

A Totals-Based Work Order is used when you have a specific total quantity of product to apply. Mixmate uses these totals to determine the concentration and then breaks the job down into individual mixes based on your equipment volume.

Setting the Mix Size Type

For Totals-Based Work Orders, the Mix Size Type determines how the total volume is divided into individual mixes. These must be defined using volume units (e.g., Gallons or Liters).

  • Destination Capacity: The mix size is based on the volume of the sprayer or tank being filled. If your total Work Order requires 6,000 gallons but your sprayer only holds 1,200 gallons, Mixmate will set the mix size to 1,200 gallons until the final partial load. Note: A destination must be selected to use this option.

  • Number of Splits: Divides the total Work Order volume into a specific number of equal loads. For example, splitting a 5,000-gallon Work Order into 5 loads results in 1,000 gallons per mix.

  • User Defined: Allows you to set a specific, static volume for every mix (e.g., always mix exactly 985 gallons).

  • Work Order Size: The entire Work Order volume is completed in one single mix.

Adding Products to a Totals-Based Work Order

When adding products here, you are entering the total amount of chemical required for the entire Work Order.

1. Product*

Select the desired product to be added to this mix.

2. Amount*

Enter the numerical value for the total amount of this product needed for the whole job.

3. Amount Unit of Measure*

Select the units for the amount (e.g., Gallons, Quarts, Pounds).

4. Rinse Amount and Units

These entries allow you to specify the volume of carrier used to flush the lines once this product has been added to the mix.

  • Initial Value: This field automatically pulls the default rinse amount from your main Product inventory settings.

  • Customization: You can edit this value here if this specific Work Order requires a different rinse volume than your standard setup.
