This type of Work Order serves as your master prescription or recipe. The Completable Work Order is used when setting an overall work order size; once you have reached that amount mixed, the work order is marked complete. This is common for custom applicators performing specific jobs for customers.
| Field | Description |
| Work Order Number* | The name displayed in selection menus. This is a string and can include letters (e.g., "Smith Farm Corn"). |
| Report Tags | Select tags like Crop Year, Crop, or Pass Type. These tags are associated with the Work Order for consistent reporting. |
| Final State of Mix | Specifies if the final mixed solution is in a Liquid or Dry state. This defaults to Liquid. |
| Destination | Used primarily for filtering records when selecting this Work Order. |
These settings define the foundation of your Work Order.
Carrier: Select the majority product used to reach the final volume (e.g., Water or 32% UAN).
Work Order Size and Unit: Enter the total size of the job (e.g., 500 Acres). Mixmate uses this to track progress and know when the entire job is finished.
Application Rate Value and Rate: If a carrier is selected, you must enter the target application rate (e.g., 10.0 Gallons per Acre). Mixmate uses this to scale the chemicals to the carrier volume.
The Mix Size Type sets the size of each mix independently of the Work Order size. Below are the options and how it divides the Work Order into individual mixes.
Destination Capacity: Requires a destination to be selected. In the example, the Work Order size is 586 acres, but if your sprayer only holds 1,200 gallons, choosing this would make the mix size 1,200 gallons until the final partial load is needed. This is the best option if you are mixing into different size sprayers and the operator is choosing the correct sprayer in the Mix Preview.
Number of Splits: Requires you to enter a value to divide the Work Order size by. For example, if you have a 586-acre job and you want to split it into 5 even loads, you would enter 5 to have a mix size of 117.2 acres per mix.
User Defined: Allows you to set the value and the units of the mix size. For example, if you would like to always have a mix size of 985 gallons, this is the selection you would make.
Work Order Size: Completes the Work Order in one single mix.
When adding chemicals to your Work Order, you can choose how the rates behave:
Set a fixed amount (e.g., 1.0 Quart/Acre). The product is always added at this exact rate.
Set a Min, Default, and Max rate. This allows the operator to adjust the rate during Mix Preview within your safety boundaries.
For optional additives. During Mix Preview, the operator enters 1 (ON) to include the product in the mix or 0 (OFF) to exclude it.
Automatically adjusts the rate based on live data (like wind speed). This creates a "smart" Work Order that reacts to the environment.
For every product added, specify the volume of carrier used to flush the lines. This pulls from your inventory defaults but can be customized for this specific Work Order if a different rinse volume is required.
