To ensure the most accurate mixing and flushing, Mixmate needs to know the physical volume of your input lines. This allows the system to calculate the exact amount of product "in flight" and ensure a perfect flush every time.
Hose dimensions are entered within the specific configuration of your Mixmate hardware. Follow this path:
Select the Data Tab from the bottom navigation bar.
Select Mixmates from the list.
Click on the specific Mixmate Card for the machine you are configuring.
Select Configuration.
Navigate to either your Assemblies or Custom Inputs:
For Assemblies: Click the specific assembly card (e.g., "Mixmate Inductor").
For Custom Inputs: Select the Inputs section and click the card for your custom input.
Once inside the input details, click the Hose Dimensions button.
A modal will open where you can enter the Length and Internal Diameter (ID).
By defining these dimensions, the software can:
Optimize Flushes: It calculates the exact volume of water needed to clear the line without over-diluting the mix or leaving chemical behind.
Increase Accuracy: It accounts for the product remaining in the hose at the end of a mix, which is critical for precision and when switching between different chemicals.
