Error 103 is a critical safety intervention where the Mixmate hardware triggers an immediate halt to all operations to prevent equipment damage, product loss, or unsafe mixing conditions.
You will receive Error 103 when the master controller initiates an emergency stop procedure. This error rarely occurs in isolation; it is almost always triggered by another underlying fault (such as a loss of communication or a hardware malfunction).
When this happens:
System Shutdown: All valves are closed and pumps are stopped immediately.
Recovery Mode: The current mix will be forced into Recovery Mode when saved. This ensures that the system tracks the partial amounts already dispensed so your Work Records remain accurate.
Because this error "locks" the system for safety, a full hardware and software reset is required to clear the state.
Reboot the Mixmate Machine: Power down the master controller and restart it to clear any hardware-level flags.
Restart the App: Fully close and reopen the Mixmate app on your tablet to refresh the connection.
Review Associated Errors: Check the notification log for other error codes (like Error 101 or 102) that may have caused the emergency stop.
Resume the Mix: Try running the mix again. Because the record was saved as a recovery, you can typically resume from where the system left off.
