My Mag meter is not measuring properly. What can I do?
Step 1
- Are power, signal lights lit? Check connection, cabling, plugs are seated securely.
Step 2
- Next check in configuration Components to make sure the flowmeter/mag meter is connected to the Module that the flowmeter is Physically connected. We recommend calling your dealer or support to help you walk through how to do this process.
Step 3
Basically there are 2 reasons that the mag meter doesn't measure correctly if steps 1 and 2 are correct:
1) If the actual is consistently different than what the Mixmate says, adjust the calibration:
New Calibration = Mixmate/Actual*Old Calibration
For example, Mixmate is showing 100 gallons, but your sprayer tank has 120 gallons and the current calibration is 24.
100/120 x 24 = 20, so the new calibration would be 20
2) If the actual is sporadically different than what the Mixmate says - This IS a grounding issue - You must figure out what is putting the stray voltage into the liquid.
- Green - Liquid Present, No Flow
- Blue - Liquid Present, Flow
- Purple - No Liquid Detected, Typically Air
- Red - Count flashes for error
- Flashing Blue/Green - System is not properly grounded with external world.
All other Arag Mag meters
- Light toggles Dim/Bright with flow
Also, consider running firmware updates.
