How do I replace my Jug Rinse Sensor?
Steps to replace the jug rinse sensor in the inductor
- Remove the sensor from the jug rinse arm using a 15/16 inch wrench.
- Put the new sensor in leaving approximately a 1/16 inch (1 mm ) gap between the end of the new sensor and the lever.
- Be sure to aim the wire along the tube while tightening the sensor.
- Route the new wire along the same path as the old wire. Replace any zip ties along the way as needed.
- Remove the old wires from the connector one at a time. This step requires a small flatblade screwdriver.
- Remove the connector from the module.
- Remove the wedge from the connector. This is the brightly colored piece of the connector that is the outermost part of the connector. Use the screwdriver to gently pry this out.
- To release the pin from the connector, use the screwdriver to hold the pin latch to the center of the connector and pull the wire out of the back of the connector at the same time.
- Make sure to match the color of wire of the old wires to the new wires.
- Once all wires have been changed to the the new wires, put the wedge back in the connector and plug it into the module.
- Test the sensor in Diagnostics Mode.
