How do I sync my data/changes to/from the cloud?

Keeping your tablet synced with the cloud ensures that your mix logs are backed up and that any new work orders or products created in the office are available on the trailer.


The Cloud Status Icon

The easiest way to check your connection status is to look at the Cloud Icon located in the upper right-hand corner of the Mixmate app screen.

  • Checkmark inside the cloud: Your data is fully synced and up to date.

  • No checkmark / Arrow: There are pending changes that need to be uploaded or downloaded.

How to Trigger a Sync

If you notice the cloud does not have a checkmark, you can force a sync using these two methods:

  1. Manual Tap: Ensure your tablet is connected to the internet (via Wi-Fi or a hotspot) and simply tap the cloud icon. The app will immediately attempt to communicate with the Praxidyn servers.

  2. App Restart: Close the Mixmate app completely and reopen it while connected to the internet. The app is programmed to perform an automatic sync every time it initializes.

Why Syncing Matters

  • Reporting: Your office staff cannot see your completed jobs or generate invoices until the tablet syncs.

  • Updates: If a manager changes a chemical rate or adds a new field to a work order from the web portal, those changes won't appear on your tablet until the sync is successful.
