Changing the units of measure for products in a given blend must be done at the product level. If you are about to start a blend and notice the units of measure needs to change, please do directly to that product under Products and make the change. 

Data -> Products -> Select the Product you want to change -> Click the Display Unit of Measure drop down and select the desired Display Unit of Measure -> Save the Product
