Products are the "ingredients" for your mixes. They can be liquids, powders, or any other chemical you plan to use. You must enter your products into the system before you can add them to a Work Order.
Note: You can create products in the Mixmate App or on the Web App (app.mixmate.com).
1. Go to the Products Page Open the Mixmate App, tap the Data tab, and select Products. This shows a list of everything currently in your system.
2. Add a Product Tap the + (plus) button to open a new product form.
3. Fill in the Details Enter the information for your chemical. The most important fields are:
Product Name: What you call the product (e.g., "Roundup").
Physical Form: Choose Liquid or Dry.
Density: This is critical! The machine often measures by weight (lbs) but you usually want to mix by volume (gallons). The density number tells the system how to convert between the two.
Rinse Amount: How much water should run through the system to clean the lines after this product is used.
4. Save Tap Save. Your product is now ready to be used in a Work Order.
If you need to change something later, go back to the Products list:
Edit: Tap on the product card to change its details. Note: Changing a product will affect any future mixes that use it.
Copy or Archive: Tap the three dots on the product card. Use Copy to quickly create a similar product, or Archive to hide a product you no longer use.
Do I need to be near the machine? No. You can create products anywhere using the app or the website.
Why is Density required? Mixmate scales weigh the product to be accurate. The density setting allows the app to do the math so you can order "5 gallons" and the machine knows exactly how many pounds to weigh out.
