CAN Bus Communications Diagnostics

If you are having CAN Bus issues here are the steps to diagnose CAN issues.

Terminators: There should be 2 terminators in the system. With both terminators plugged into the harness and the power shut off, the easiest place to measure the resistance with a meter is inside the power module between the green and yellow wires. If you have 2 good terminators the resistance should be around 60 ohms. The Mixmate will not work at all if the resistance is less than 50 ohms or greater than 135 ohms and may intermittently work or throw errors above 70 ohms.

** Make sure all pins are fully seated and pins well crimped. You will need to remove the ends/caps to inspect this.

Deutsche:

1 - Black/GND

2 - Green/CAN Low

3 - Yellow or White/CAN High

4 - Red/12V+

Amp Seal(Arag Valves):

1 - Black/GND

2 - Red/12V+

3 - Green/CAN Low

4 - Yellow/CAN High
