Adding Product Amounts - Product Rate Data - Rate

Adding a Product at a Specific Rate

The Rate setting is used to define a fixed application amount for a product. Mixmate uses this value to automatically calculate exactly how much chemical is needed based on the total size of your mix.

1. Product Selection

Select the product you want to add to the Work Order.

2. Product Rate Data

Leave this selection set to Rate. This tells the system that the product uses a static, non-changing application rate for this Work Order.

3. Product Rate and Units

  • Product Rate: Enter the numerical value for the application rate (e.g., 12.0).

  • Rate Units: Choose the units that describe the rate (e.g., Ounces per Acre or Quarts per 100 Gallons).

4. Rinse Amount and Units

These entries allow you to specify the volume of carrier used to flush the lines once this product has been added to the mix.

  • Initial Value: This field automatically pulls the default rinse amount from your main Product inventory settings.

  • Customization: You can edit this value here if this specific Work Order requires a different rinse volume than your standard setup.

How it works during Mix Preview

On the Mix Preview page, Mixmate will display the total amount of product required for the specific mix size you entered during setup. Because this is a static rate, the system handles all the math automatically to ensure your concentration remains perfect.
